Independent by Design
Judgement protected from delivery and commercial interests.
TacminMadini’s independent assurance conclusions are determined by project evidence and experienced judgement. Contractor, supplier, intermediary and transactional interests do not determine our findings. Where we also undertake implementation, responsibilities are separately defined and our work is not presented as independently assured by us.
Independent owner position
TacminMadini is appointed under defined owner authority, with clear scope, reporting and accountability boundaries. We independently test project information, assumptions, reported performance and forecasts to establish what the evidence supports, where exposure is developing and what requires owner attention.
Owner-side assurance does not mean reaching the conclusion an owner may prefer. It means examining the project from the perspective of those carrying capital and decision accountability.
Clear Boundaries Between Assurance and Implementation
TacminMadini may develop solutions and accept implementation responsibilities under agreed owner mandates. The owner retains decision authority, while we remain accountable for assigned activities and deliverables. We do not:
- protect contractor or supplier positions;
- receive commissions or intermediary incentives;
- shape legal or claims strategy;
- align assurance findings with transactional outcomes; or
- independently assure our own work or work undertaken by related delivery interests.
Delivery organisations execute and report the project. TacminMadini independently protects capital and decision integrity.
Conflicts and contributors
Every mandate is reviewed for actual, potential or perceived conflicts before acceptance. Reporting authority, commercial relationships and contributor interests are clarified before work begins.
Specialists and technology providers may support defined parts of a mandate, but they do not influence the independent conclusion. All contributions remain subject to TacminMadini’s confidentiality, evidence, quality and independence requirements.
Related delivery interests
TacminMadini’s independent assurance mandates remain separate from work undertaken by its sister company Tacmin or other related delivery interests. We do not provide independent assurance over their work. Any participation in solution development or implementation is explicitly scoped, with relationships, responsibilities and reporting arrangements disclosed.
Where independence cannot be credibly protected, TacminMadini will not accept the mandate.
