Governance Assurance & Capital Stewardship
Delivery experience informing governance assurance
Built on delivery experience. Grounded in discipline. Applied through governance assurance.
TacminMadini’s governance assurance capability is grounded in more than three decades of delivery experience across mining, infrastructure and asset-intensive environments, including work in regulated, high-consequence settings spanning planning, procurement, construction and operations. In many cases, the decisive factor was not technical redesign alone, but restoration of structural alignment between configuration, commitments and retained accountability - recognising that exposure often forms structurally before it becomes operationally visible. This experience now informs TacminMadini’s independent governance assurance role under owner authority, providing practical perspective on where value is created, tested or diluted across the asset lifecycle.
Experience presented in this section reflects historical execution work led by Tacmin (Pty) Ltd and its founder across multiple jurisdictions. This experience forms the delivery foundation from which TacminMadini’s governance assurance capability has been developed.
The projects illustrate the scale, complexity and exposure environments in which delivery accountability was carried directly. They also highlight how the absence of independent owner-side structural visibility can amplify risk concentration, cost escalation and long-term liability as capital hardens.
TacminMadini does not execute projects. The firm operates independently above delivery, applying governance assurance, oversight and escalation under defined owner authority.
Delivery experience is now applied to detecting structural exposure, assuring decision alignment and reinforcing capital discipline - particularly where complexity, capital intensity or long-term accountability increase. This ensures owners retain transparency, authority and stewardship continuity as assets move through development, operation, transition and closure.
The experience presented below reflects historical delivery work undertaken across diverse asset environments and operating conditions. Projects are grouped to illustrate the exposure contexts in which decisions were made, interfaces managed and capital consequences realised - environments that shaped the governance discipline applied today.
Informed by delivery and execution experience across mining, infrastructure, assets & restoration.
