Governance Decision Intelligence for Owner-side Governance

Independent, likelihood-based governance intelligence for complex, long-life assets

Governance Decision Intelligence (GDI) is TacminMadini’s independent, owner-mandated governance capability, providing forward visibility into how evolving conditions are likely to affect future owner exposure, accountability and outcomes across complex, long-life assets. Operating above execution, GDI strengthens owner-side governance by rapidly analysing governance-critical signals across the asset lifecycle to identify where approved intent, decision authority or accountability are most likely to diverge as conditions evolve. Using AI-enabled pattern recognition alongside governance judgement, GDI surfaces emerging exposure early, compressing the time between signal and owner-side action so intervention occurs while meaningful choices remain available.

GDI Across the Asset Lifecycle

Governance Decision Intelligence (GDI) applies forward, likelihood-based governance insight continuously across portfolios and individual asset lifecycles, surfacing governance priorities as conditions change and ensuring focus on owner decisions, accountability and exposure over time. Each stage is explored in more detail within its own page.

Forward governance insight before capital is committed

Why it matters

Feasibility approval establishes the basis for proceeding, but it does not guarantee that the capital, cost, schedule and production assumptions approved at that point will ultimately hold. As commitments escalate, optionality reduces rapidly and the ability to correct foundational decisions diminishes.

What GDI provides

Governance Decision Intelligence (GDI) maintains forward visibility over whether the approved feasibility case is likely to remain valid as conditions evolve, highlighting early divergence between approved intent, emerging assumptions and downstream decision pathways while meaningful options remain available.

What this enables

Earlier recognition of governance exposure, enabling owners to refresh decisions, adjust commitments or strengthen controls before capital is irreversibly committed and accountability hardens.

From governance insight to governance action

GDI does not replace decision-making, delivery, or advisory functions. It operates concurrently, identifying where evolving conditions are likely to create heightened owner exposure, misalignment, or loss of defensibility. Where GDI indicates that exposure has reached a level requiring formal intervention, owners may activate a targeted governance mandate to govern the relevant decision, interface, or phase explicitly. These mandates are discrete, owner-side services applied at points of highest exposure, informed by GDI but governed independently.

Important context

Governance Decision Intelligence provides likelihood-based insight to support owner decision-making under uncertainty. It does not replace delivery accountability, operator responsibility or statutory assurance processes, nor does it predict or guarantee outcomes. Decisions and outcomes remain the responsibility of asset owners and their appointed delivery and operating parties.
