Engineers & Constructors for mining & infrastructure
Since 1996 and during assignments and studies, we have generated 1210 mining project life cycle benchmark models for Blue Chip mining companies, with project values fetching up to US$ 5 billion, during which we simulated the Clients’ mine site conditions and imported geological and mine engineering data basis of up to 100 Gb for more than 12 different commodities - for annual ROM production of up to 60 Mtpa. During this time, we have developed and applied resource data basis with complete Life-cycle costing of more than 300 different equipment models and sizes, with hauling equipment that ranges from 25 to 380 payload tons and matching shovels of up to 45 m3 bucket capacity.
The long and the short of those above is our expertise knows their mining. During the life cycle benchmarks, we liaise extensively with OEMs and base our models on formal capital and equipment operating cost quotations. In many instances, unless our Clients have a preferred arrangement, our selected OEM will be based upon the procurement of formal enquiries from more than one OEM.
Our equipment capital cost component invariably contains extensive owning cost breakdowns and a variety of finance options. Given our integrated systems, our owner-mining cost models are also converted into unit rates for pricing of the total Life of Mine or medium terms mining plans inclusive of drill and blast, manpower and maintenance.
During the process of cost engineering for mining studies, and if it was a requirement from the client, we are, without exception, always in a position to pursue collaboration with OEMs on a partnership mining model.
For more specifics and demonstration of our owner-operator cost modelling and EPC terms of engagement, we provide unobligated online meetings for C-Level executives.
